MODIFIED BITUMEN MEMBRANE

"The time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining."
John F. Kennedy |
Modified Bitumen roofs are:
- Atactic-Polypropylene (APP) Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing
- Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing
- Self-Adhering Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing
The modified bitumen roofing system is a take off from the built-up roof system that used hot tar kettles. Surface options for this system include factory applied mineral surface, a gravel laid in bitumen or a liquid applied coating, typically reflective in nature.
